The School of Engineering & Built Environment wishes to appoint Senior Lecturers to join the Department of Computer, Communications and Interactive Systems. The Department brings together an exciting blend of skills in the development and application of 21st century electronic technologies and is seeking research engineers and advanced practitioners with priority given to the following disciplines:

  • Diagnostic Systems for Remote Condition and Performance Monitoring;
  • Intelligent Image and Signal Processing for Information and Sensor Data Fusion;
  • Advanced Wireless Networks for Remote Sensing and IP based Multimedia Broadcasting;
  • 3D, VR and Augmented Reality systems for complex data interaction and Nextgen Computer Gaming.

Applicants should hold a relevant PhD, and/or substantial relevant industrial experience in a technical role and evidence a track record of leading research and teaching in related discipline. Practitioner expertise is also highly desirable especially within a leadership capacity.

Successful candidates will also be expected to supervise research students and develop links with industry in both the UK and Overseas.
