Psychologist / Therapist Counselor help2kids

We are a young international NGO in Dar es Salaam and we are running a children's home for about 30 children in Mbezi Beach.

Since most of our children are coming from difficult situations (parents died, disappeared or misused their children) we are looking for a psychologist/therapist counselor who could support our children in dealing with their past experiences. This job would require to come to our children's home for one full day per week or two half days per week.

We are looking for an experienced psychologist or therapist who is experienced in helping children and youth. But we are also open to young graduates from the University of Dar es Salaam or other schools in case they graduated in the field of psychology or education. You will work in a young and very international team with people from various countries. Therefore we require Swahili as mother tongue and English on a high level. Moreover we expect you to be highly reliable, honest, outgoing, communicative and passionate to help children and youth on their way to a better future.

Your salary will be negotiated.
