The Supreme Court would like to recruit a Contractual staff responsible for the Witness Protection Expert under the terms of the following references:

2.Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Registrar in the Supreme Court, the expert's main duties and responsibilities will be as follows:

1. Oversees all activities involving the section and defines areas of priority;
2. Develops strategies and procedures to be implemented by the unit, in accor¬dance with the overall policy and directives set out by the Supreme Court;
3. He/she plans, organizes, direct and controls the operations of the unit;

5. Empowers the staff of the 'unit through regular training and workshops to ensure the smooth protection and management of the witnesses appearing before the High and Supreme Courts;
6. Provides technical advice to the Chief Registrar and other relevant officials involved in witness protection program;
7. Provides any other technical assistance in matters related to witness protection as may be required by the Judiciary;
8. Prepare periodic progress reports on witness protection and management program;
9. Reporting all activities to the Chief Registrar;
10. Performing any other duties as assigned by the Chief Registrar.

3. Qualifications and Experiences:

A law degree and at least five years experience in witness in an international court.
