Eskom QUANTITY SURVEYOR - Gauteng - Johannesburg CBD

QUANTITY SURVEYOR

This role is responsible for providing a support function to the operational area of the business unit in terms of the control of the measurement, certification and cost reporting for the projects as well as providing commercial and contractual guidance on projects.

The incumbent will accept responsibility and perform essential duties as follows: • Strategic planning, continuous improvement and financial audit • Commercial management • Measurement of work • Management of Sub-contractor functions • Communication and recordkeeping • Reporting.

Requirements: • A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying/similar • Professional registration (would be preferred) • A valid driver’s licence • 3 years’ quantity surveying experience in the electrical or civil construction industry.

The successful candidates will be appointed in terms of Rotek/Roshcon’s Employment Equity policies and procedures.
