The British Medical Association (BMA) is an independent trade union and voluntary professional association which represents doctors and medical students from all branches of medicine all over the UK. With a membership of over 149,000 worldwide, we promote the medical and allied sciences, seek to maintain the honour and interests of the medical profession and promote the achievement of high quality healthcare.

The BMA is looking to recruit an EU Policy Manager for its small Brussels-based office. The successful applicant will have a solid background in European affairs and in-depth knowledge of both EU and UK health policy.

It is expected that applying candidates must have demonstrable EU experience in a number of senior EU roles. Interviews are likely to take place in October in London.

The deadline for applications is 21 September 2012. The contract will initially be for 1 year with possibility of extension to a permanent contract.
