Pro Mujer leads the microfinance industry in addressing the poorest segment’s multiple needs and in pioneering creative solutions to build awareness and demand for health services. It also provides access to basic healthcare and health promotion and prevention education.

About the Job:

Pro Mujer is looking for an Institutional Advancement Coordinator. S/he will work with the development and communications teams to promote donor cultivation and stewardship through important administrative processes, including gift processing, database maintenance and communication, and fundraising outreach strategies. S/he will play an important role in helping to develop and implement new strategies to strengthen Pro Mujer's fundraising and marketing capabilities.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

•Serve as an expert in database, learn about new database functionality, create procedures, and educate colleagues in new features as necessary;
•Work with development team to build and implement innovative processes to strengthen donor relationships and increase organizational funding;
•Collaborate on and implement new strategies to strengthen Pro Mujer’s marketing capabilities through specialized e-mail and letter campaigns;
•Coordinate the production of special marketing materials;
•Manage solicitation and invitation lists, provide planning, production, communication, and management support for events, including the annual benefit;
•Assist in the production of donor trips to Pro Mujer country offices;
•Provide additional administrative support to development and communications teams and the chief development and communications officer;
•Supervise interns and volunteers as necessary.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree;
•Minimum 2 to 4 years relevant experience in the field of development and communications with experience in database and list management and development events;
•Experience with Donor Perfect and other database systems a plus;
•Fluent in Spanish preferred;
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel;
•Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills;
•Highly organized and detail oriented;
•Self-starter, creative problem solver, and analytical thinker;
•Able to successfully manage multiple projects in fast moving environment.
