Duties
AusAID is seeking experienced payroll staff to fill two vacancies in the HR Operations team.

The Pay Team Leader supervises the day-to-day work of Personnel Officers, to ensure pay processing is accurate and completed in time for the fortnightly run. As the Team Leader, you will be expected to provide advice and training to employees on pay and conditions of service and to identify and implement improvements to existing payroll processes.

The Payroll Administrator manages the tasks and reporting of the Agency's payroll on a fortnightly basis using Aurion. Duties include but not limited to enhancing the Aurion HRIS system for staff in Canberra and overseas; contributing to the analysis of data and trends; contributing to the development an documentation of policies, procedures and guidelines and provide back-up for the Pay Team Leader.

Both positions work under the broad direction of the Payroll Manager and will be expected to provide additional assistance as required.
Eligibility / Other Requirements
Specialist expertise, knowledge or experience in the delivery of payroll services within a public service environment or similar is highly desirable.

Candidates must be Australian citizens. These are security-assessed roles. Successful candidates will be required to either have, or be able to obtain, a security clearance at Negative Vetting 1 level.
