Job title: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Reports to: Administrator
Job role: Provide administrational support to all aspects of the Human Resources & Administration Department functions and strategies in line with the Department's mission.
Key Result Areas
- Take initiative on requests and inquiries of administrative nature & ensure that all requests for service are logged and directed to the appropriate Officer for action;
- Update and follow up on delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines;
- Ensure filing systems are maintained and up to date;
- Transfer and dispose records according to retention schedules and policies;
- Maintain office services as well as office records
- Recommend management action to improve standard operating procedures;
- Present comparisons on costs, risks and benefits;
- Routinely re-order Office Supplies and submit Consumables Report; and
- Update the Commission asset register.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Social sciences or Management; and
- Must be computer literate especially Microsoft Office
Experience and knowledge
- At least two (2) years experience in Administrative duties in a busy environment.
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Strong interpersonal skills; and
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
