VP Finance and Administration Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa

The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) is a

partnership of the Rockefeller Foundation, the Bill and Melinda

Gates Foundation, and other donors working with African

governments, NGOs, the private sector, and African farmers

to significantly and sustainably improve the productivity and

incomes of resource poor farmers in Africa.

We seek a VP Finance & Administration to lead the finance,

accounting, and information systems teams to the highest levels

of performance, and to ensure effective and efficient management

of AGRA’s financial resources. We seek a strategic and tactical

leader who sees both the big picture and the details of finance.

He/she will turn resources into field financial programs that

benefit the core mission of AGRA.

The successful candidate will have a track record of superior

results in a decade or more of senior financial leadership roles,

including the ability to build partnerships and work across the

African continent. Applicants must be fluent in both English and

French, with significant experience residing and working in West Africa

Previous experience in a not-for-profit grant making

organization is valued. The position reports to the President and

is based in Nairobi at AGRA’s headquarters.
