Requirements: • A Warehouse/Logistics qualification • A minimum of 5 years’ warehouse management experience in the FMCG industry • Computer literacy. Knowledge of SAP R/3 (Inventory and Warehouse modules) would be advantageous • Exposure to various forecasting techniques, which will be used for demand and operations planning. A proven positive track record in leading a Warehouse function and related operations in an FMCG environment would be an advantage • Expert knowledge of and demonstrated competence in the application of principles, strategies and techniques relating to Warehousing and Logistics • Sound financial acumen with demonstrated competence showing an understanding of the financial impact of Logistics • Strong
analytical skills, including scenario planning and conducting comparative analyses • Strong leadership and people management skills • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Strong negotiation skills • Excellent team motivator and team player • High intellect and mental agility to be able to deal with a large span of complexity • High energy levels with a passion for customer service and implementing new business/initiatives • Well-developed ability to think strategically.
Responsibilities: • Formulate and control the budget according to annual plans • Administer strict stock control and stock rotation procedures • Manage inventory levels and shrinkage in line with company standards • Control and limit breakages and shortages • Maintain sufficient stock levels according to the D&OP process • Ensure commitment to The Coca-Cola Quality System • Manage and develop capability of the warehouse team, including People Plan • Manage and coordinate Health and Safety.
