Assistant Director (Competition Lawyer)

Salary : £58,250 + £3,250 Lawyers Allowance

As an Assistant Director (Competition Lawyer), you will typically head up multi-disciplinary teams primarily on competition enforcement or market study/market reference projects.  You will be responsible for the intellectual and day-to-day leadership of the project.  This will include leading and developing the relevant analysis to ensure decisions are robust and well founded, as well as thinking creatively about possible solutions to market problems and identifying and managing risks.
As a Grade 6 competition lawyer, you will advise on legal aspects of high-profile competition law projects, litigation and on related public law.  You will be expected to work autonomously on a range of projects.This will include work on civil competition projects, civil and criminal cartels and mergers.
