The role is based in Malaria
Consortium’s UK office in London. Malaria Consortium operates in two
main regions, being Asia and Africa with the UK office providing a

Malaria Consortium is one of
the world's leading non-profit organisations dedicated to the
comprehensive control of malaria and other communicable diseases in
Africa and Southeast Asia. Malaria is one of the most important public
health and socio-economic challenges facing the DRC. 97% of the
population live in areas experiencing high and stable malaria
transmission, and the remaining 3% of the population live in areas prone
to outbreaks. In some parts of the country, the prevalence of malaria
is as high as 80%, and children under five are estimated to each
experience an average of 6-10 episodes of illness per year. About a
third of all deaths are due to malaria, and DRC accounts for more
malaria deaths than any country other than Nigeria.
