Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority Driver

Reporting to:Civil Aviation Manager of the respective Station

Basic Function:

His basic function is to drive vehicles, transporting staff, guests and goods at the station level

Duties and responsibilities

To drive staff and other passengers to destinations as directed by supervisor

To ensure that the vehicle's tyres are of the required standards and the tool box is available.

To check fuel, engine oil brake fluid and water that they are of the required amount and take corrective actions where necessary

To ensure the vehicle is clean and neat at all times in order to maintain a good image of the Authority.

To maintain a logbook for all trips made by and ensure other users do the same.

To inform supervisor when there is need for a scheduled maintenance. To undertake minor repairs and services to ensure that the car remains in a good working condition and report any problems to the supervisor.

To ensure that motor vehicle is properly safeguarded from theft, fire and any other risk and that parking premises are safe.

To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Qualification:

Ordinary level secondary school education certificate, Class "C" driving license, Trade test Grade III orCBET with' a clean driving record

Working Experience:

Three (3) years experience.

Salary:According to the TCM Salary structure

Successful candidates will be appointed initially on one year probation period and thereafter if successful on un specified period depending on the age of the employee.

Legal Requirement:

All officers of the Authority are required to observe the TCM Code of Conduct
