World Vision Campaigns Manager

Are you a smart campaigner who can get the UK fired up and make our target audience demand an end to child marriage, sexual slavery and enforced child labour?
Do you have the energy and influencing skills to take us on a journey, to empower us to create and deliver campaigns that will raise awareness of what we do and how people can join us to make a real difference?
Are you a campaigning expert, up to date on all the latest techniques? Are you media savvy? Are you able to understand complex international relief and development policy issues and can you use them to inspire the UK public?
Are you solutions focussed and do you want to leave a legacy of real change for children, for good?
World Vision UK is embarking on an exciting journey: soon we will be launching a single theme campaign focused on protecting children. We need you to help manage our first steps on this campaign. You will lead a small team but need to exert influence across the entire organisation – from media to fundraising and from policy to our overseas offices - ensuring we are all aligned and focussed on the campaign.
You are likely to:
  • Be educated to degree level
  • Have significant experience of leading senior level popular campaigns
  • Be able to understand and communicate complex policy issues
  • Have demonstrable marketing skills, with a clear understanding of how social media and traditional media can be used to further campaign goals
  • Have demonstrable leadership, influencing and people management skills
All applicants must be willing to work within a Christian framework and be sensitive to its various expressions across cultures and denominations.  If you’re passionate about our work, focused on transforming the lives of the world’s poorest children, their families and communities, we’d love to hear from you!
