entire agricultural industry in South Africa.
The ARC-Onderstepoort Veterinary Institute (ARC-OVI) seeks to appoint
experienced and dynamic persons to the following positions at Onderstepoort,
Pretoria:

Key performance areas: • Plan, budget and manage buildings • Be responsible for maintenance and capital
works, such as laboratories, offices and residential areas • Let none-core facilities, ie stables and agricultural
land • Plan, direct and coordinate activities of specific facilities projects • Supervise staff.
Requirements: • A National Diploma in the building environment • 5 years’ relevant experience • Good
communication skills (written and verbal) • Computer literacy and proficiency in the MS Office suite
• A valid driver’s licence.

A competitive remuneration package will be congruent with the scope, responsibilities and the stature of the
position. Appointments will be subject to a 6-month probation period (for permanent positions only) and a
positive security clearance.
