The FIA Foundation is a UK charity working internationally in global road traffic injury prevention, sustainable mobility and motor sport safety. As a grant-making foundation, we fund road safety programmes and mobility-related environmental projects managed by our strategic grant partners. As a campaigning NGO we devise and successfully advocate innovative and potentially world-changing ideas, including the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety and the Global Fuel Economy Initiative.
As Director General, you will be passionate about advancing this agenda. You will ideally have a record of developing and influencing policy outcomes at a global level, experience of both grant-making and campaigning, and you will possess the diplomatic skills and versatility required to work with partners and audiences ranging from heads of UN agencies and senior government ministers to specialist researchers and grass-roots NGOs. You will report to our international Board of Trustees, engage with the Foundation’s global membership of automobile clubs, and manage a small and dedicated team based at our Central London office.
