Cullinan Diamond Mine is situated in the town of Cullinan, 30km east of Pretoria. The mine is currently mining at a depth of 747 metres using mechanised trackless block-cave mining.
Financial Information Systems Administrator
This position requires an energetic and dynamic individual to maintain stability of the AccPac and e-Workflow systems in order to provide a service to all users and sub-modules on the Mine.
Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Code all items in conformance with Group central catalogues
  • Facilitate requests for system changes
  • Maintain AccPac system access and authorisation roles
  • Resolve queries relating to the Inventory Control Module, e-Workflow and AccPac integration
  • Provide support in the use of report-writing tools, development and processing of reports
  • Support and train end users
  • Extract and compile month-end reports
  • Audit and maintain the systems standards and administration functions on AccPac
  • Conduct system-related communication
  • Perform user acceptance testing on completion of new configuration
  • Perform general administration duties
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy and integrity of the AccPac system data
  • Contribute towards the financial health of the Company
  • Communicate effectively and establish good working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Work effectively with a diverse group of people
  • Improve and develop own skills and competence
  • Work according to the Mine's Code of Practice and report any observations of this not being done
  • Ensure personal and co-workers' adherence to and compliance with security and the Company's SHE objectives
  • Ensure adherence to Company policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
Minimum requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • 3 years' experience in financial systems
  • Qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics will be an advantage
  • Proven working knowledge of AccPac and e-Workflow systems
  • Intermediate computer literacy in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint as well as Intermediate MS Excel Certificate.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Organisational and industry-specific knowledge and experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent time management, planning, coordinating and prioritising skills
  • High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Independent, self-motivated and proactive thinker

  • High level of multi-skilling and ability to work as part of a team
  • Results-driven with high customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills
