Reporting to the Director of Programs and as part of the Global Programs Leadership Group you will be supporting programming activities across 22 countries in Africa and Asia. You will be responsible for developing and promoting a portfolio of innovative and best-practice programs that provide clear linkages between the interests of the specific country needs, FHF’s mission, and the goals of our partner institutions.
 
In this newly created position your skills and expertise will be used to provide strong leadership in the areas of program and proposal development, ensuring all programming is grounded in solid public health practice and compliant with donor requirements and regulations.
 
To be a success in this role you will have a strong international program management background, with a substantive amount of off shore (in-country) experience, so you are able to understand, relate and empathise with our country managers. Previous experience working within the International Development sector and working with international aid donors globally to design, implement and managing aid funded programs is essential. In addition, your ability to cultivate strong internal and external relationships to develop strategies and resources to influence, persuade and build the confidence of program staff, partners and other stakeholders will be key to your success, as will your first rate communication and leadership skills.
 
Ideally this position will be based in our Rosebery office, Sydney.
