The International Development Office is looking for a senior project manager to support the innovative £10m DFID funded teacher education project in India led by The Open University.

You will have proven and extensive project management experience. You will manage the TESS-India project and all its associated activities providing input, support and expertise to the different work streams in the UK and India. You will provide integrative leadership and strategic advice, and proactively lead on the timely delivery of the project within scope and to budget.

You will be educated to degree standard (or equivalent) with a formal project management qualification. You will be a strong team player with the ability to steer teams and groups towards top performance. To be successful, you will need experience of assuming personal responsibility for meeting multiple stakeholder needs across cultures, regions and teams.
