The opportunity

We are looking for a Specialist - Software Asset Management, based in Singapore, to act as a primary contact for the Managed Service Provider (MSP) team on day to day issue resolutions. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day follow-up on the action log with the MSP delivery teams.

What the role entails

This position is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual with good planning and prioritisation skills. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Software Asset Management Service Delivery Manager, you will be:

• Ensuring that the Managed Service Provider sets appropriate remediation action plans and develop preventative measures to address issues and prevent re-occurrence
• Supporting Managed Service Provider in the implementation of action plans to deliver quality service, improved operational practices and outputs across all software asset service domains, including operations, governance, commercial and technical systems
• Tracking on the contract renewal process to ensure that the software maintenance process is commenced and completed on-time which includes update of Ariba system and other related information
• Reviewing quarterly reports provided by the MSP team prior to distribution to the Rio Tinto leaders
• Supporting the Service Delivery Manager in developing and implementing communications plans and related materials to engage customers and stakeholders to demonstrate the value of software asset management
• Driving performance and improvement with the outsourced service provider along with managing and engaging with customers
• Working collaboratively with team members, customers and culturally diverse stakeholders

What you will need for this role

To succeed in this exciting and challenging role, you will have:

• A relevant degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering or a Business discipline
• Experience in Software Asset Management
• Demonstrated experience in managing outsourced service
• A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
