The opportunity
 
We are looking for a Specialist, Training Management Systems, based in Perth, to provide oversight and expert advice on the training management systems, procedures and reporting processes used across the business.

What the role entails
 
This position is a great opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual seeking a new challenge. Based in Perth and reporting to the Manager Training and Development, you will be:
 
  • Overseeing the effective utilisation of the Learning Management Framework (LMF) and the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Supporting the reporting function across all areas of the training and development division, including trades training
  • Managing the training document control and data management processes, including the Intranet portal
  • Acting as a key point of contact for all training Information Technology (IT) interfaces such as SAP, SharePoint, and other relevant IT systems
  • Monitoring the effective utilisation of the LMS to support the training function
  • Managing and improving the trades training’s database
  • Ensuring the continuous improvement of all training and development systems
  • Leading key “T3 Training Transformation” projects across the business
                                                             
What you will need for this role
 
To succeed in this exciting and challenging role, you will have:
 
  • Relevant experience in a similar role with a technical and/or operational training background
  • Learning management and document management systems experience
  • A strong commitment to safety through effective training and development systems
 
Relevant training and/or learning qualifications will be desirable. Additionally, your experience with large scale change management projects and exposure to SAP will be highly regarded.
