UNECE JOBS DEC 2013

The UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is expanding its consultants' roster. It invites consultants meeting the criteria to submit their curriculum vitae for consideration:

Criteria:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading and conducting evaluations in the international development context
  • At least an additional 5 years of professional working experience in a related professional area (preferably within the technical expertise of UNECE programmes)
  • Experience conducting evaluations in countries in the UNECE region
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of Russian language is highly desirable

Applicants are requested to identify which of the following technical areas fall within their competence for conducting evaluations.
  1. Evaluation of institutional / intergovernmental processes
  2. Transport and related sectors
  3. Sustainable energy
  4. Environmental policy for sustainable development
  5. Gender equality
  6. Trade facilitation
  7. Economic innovation
  8. Climate change
  9. Statistics
  10. Forestry and Timber
  11. Housing and land management
