Work with assigned deal teams on structured equipment finance transactions in a cross functional environment conducting deal due diligence, know your customer searches, negotiation, approval and documentation. Position will be responsible for complete risk management process from deal origination to portfolio management with full adherence to operational and regulatory guidelines.
Work with assigned deal teams in the underwriting, approval, and documentation of new credit requests, credit line renewals for existing customers, and ongoing monitoring of the current portfolio.
Negotiate terms and conditions for transactions and works with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate documentation.
Conduct financial and collateral analysis and prepare risk assessments for presentation to senior management.
Focus on clear and consistent approach to mitigate environmental, legal, regulatory, and other risks.
Proactive involvement in pre deal review (PIC) process to assist sales team with transaction structuring.
Collaborate with portfolio management on existing accounts, performing rigorous analysis of transactions, and resolving problem accounts in partnership with other teams and specialists.
Demonstrate external focus through participation in customer meetings with commercial organization as required.
Participate as a team member in special projects aimed at improving business processes and analytic tools.
Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years experience or RMP graduate (or a high school diploma / GED and a minimum of 8 years) in underwriting or financial statement analysis in banking, commercial lending/leasing, investment businesses, or in financial services industries.
Experience conducting analysis, interpreting financial performance, and assessing risk exposure.
Experience preparing and delivering presentations (both verbal and written) to management and peers.
Knowledge of commercial lease and / or loan products and documentation.
Demonstrated ability to work with various financial software applications.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Knowledge and experience with evaluating and structuring equipment finance transactions that include various collateral types in a wide variety of industries.
Experience with financial products, related documentation and ability to successfully negotiate.
