Job Summary
Cardno TBE is seeking a CAD Technician II for our Utilities - South group, in the Altamonte Springs, FL office. This is an intermediate level CAD position which, under general supervision, with some exercise of judgement, prepares computer-generated engineering drawings according to established standards and procedures.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
> Prepares engineering drawings from rough sketches or from general engineering and design information (verbal instructions and notes) using CAD software programs.
> Revises or changes drawings, traces and/or copies existing drawings and completes simple calculations with specific instructions.
> Understands and follows the company's standard CAD procedures for layering and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.
> Maintains schedules and offers progress report. Notes computer problems for CAD Supervisor.

Other Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
> CAD, using Microstation, Geopak and Auto CAD Civil 3D
> Minimum of high school or technical school training with courses in computer-aided drafting or equivalent experience.
> At least two years of computer-aided drafting experience.
