ON Impact Measurement lead
Oxfam Novib is a world-wide development organization that mobilizes the power of people against poverty.
Oxfam Novib is up scaling its support to building a social and sustainable small and medium business sector in the global south by developing and providing three interlinked services: investment, business incubation and impact measurement. A two year pilot is carried out by the ON Impact Investment facility. Due to the replacement of maternity leave we are currently recruiting a temporary:
ON Impact Measurement lead
A position for 32 hours a week based in The Hague
1st of August - 31st of December 2014
The main tasks
- Coordinates Impact Measurement studies for (internal and external) clients (matches clients needs with ON Impact Measurement's products on offer, manages local consultants/ trainers and is responsible for final product delivery to client).
- Oversees market research and translates lessons learned from the conduction of impact studies to feed into future business development for ON Impact Measurement.
- Leads in the social impact assessments of potential investments of ON Impact Investments (ONII) and documents lessons learned to input in the future development of the assessment / social due diligence tools of ONII.
- Potentially sells Oxfam Novib's Impact Measurement products effectively to internal and external clients.
You have
- A University degree in Economics and/or Social science
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the development and execution of quantitative impact measurement methodologies and studies (from initial impact assessment to reporting). Experience in working in developing countries on quantitative impact measurement (with social enterprises) works in your advantage.
- A proven ability in project management
- An excellent command of the English and French language.
- A results oriented and analytical personality with commercial skills. You are an excellent communicator and team player.
- Applicants must be Nationals of a European Union member State or have a valid work permit for the European Union.
We offer
A dutch local contract with a competitive and fair pay and benefits package that is justifiable to our donors. We offer a gross salary in the range from EU 2.639,- to EU 4.061,- on the basis of a 36 hour working week. This is excl. 8% holiday fee.
The position will be based in The Hague, The Netherlands, with possible travel to the field.
