Cardno JFNew is seeking a Project Manager/Operations Coordinator to supervise and coordinate field crews engaged in a variety of tasks related to ecological restoration, including invasive plant control, native plant revegetation, erosion control, stream bank stabilization, wetland construction and maintenance and other land management practices.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
> Supervises activities of field personnel
> Manages contract documents
> Oversees staff scheduling, work assignments and budget preparation
> Ensures all equipment is maintained and procured
> Ensures that all regulations and permits regarding herbicide application are in
> Comply with all company and client safety requirements

Other Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
> Undergraduate or advanced degree in environmental science or related field
> Minimum of 4 years of professional consulting and/or restoration experience
> Willingness to work in the field at times under strenuous conditions
> Excellent oral and written communication skills
> Experience managing projects, including field studies and data analyses
> Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
> Experience preparing budgets and proposals
> Experience developing business (understand market trends, client meetings, conference participation)
> Ability to travel periodically between offices
> Flexible, team-oriented approach, with the willingness and desire to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team
> Must hold a valid Driver's License. May also be required to complete commercial driving requirements at the 10,000-26,000 lb. classification.
Desired Qualifications:
> Previous experience managing medium ($100K) - large (>$500K) size ecological restoration projects a plus
> Positive and energetic attitude
> HAZWOPR, First Aid, Red Card, CPR, Pesticide Applicators license and other current safety certifications a plus.
> Experience in native and invasive species plant identification, restoration techniques, a plus
> Self-motivated; strong initiative; and resourceful
> Bilingual capabilities (Spanish) a plus
