Field Sales Engineer
The role
Field Sales Engineer provides the necessary day-to-day sales and technical support required to meet the sales objectives of Sandvik Hungary.
Key performance areas
  • Identify, develop and monitor sales of the Accounts as well as within the relevant market segment
  • Make regular customer calls and visits,
  • Accounts and other end-users that are potential customers for Sandvik products
  • Independently identify and develop new sales opportunities and customers
  • Technically support Sandvik products both at our end users and our distributors
  • Document our products performance by regularly preparing and submitting sales reports and other relevant documents such as forecasts
  • Train key end-users of Sandvik products personnel
  • Apply and demonstrate products using examples or catalogs and emphasize value added features and benefits to the end user
  • Generate quote requests for special tool and projects
  • Assist as required in the settling of issues that relate to his/her specific distributors. This may include credit, quality administrative or other issues
  • Participate in local, regional or national trade shows as required
Your profile
  • Minimum of three years of sales experience with industrial products
  • General knowledge of metal cutting practices and processes (experience form manufacturing taken as advantage)
  • General knowledge of CNC Machining
  • General understanding of business practices and ability to apply them
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Hungarian and English language
  • General computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes or Outlook)
