Manager – Global Technical Services Structural - Engineer (f/m)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Promoting machine assessments and machine enhancements in order to generate Aftermarket Project sales
  • Providing technical input for the preparation of project execution plans, method statements, desktop studies, time schedules etc.
  • Building strong customer relationships together with the local CS-teams including regular visits of key customers
  • Performing machine walk-overs and technical audits on materials handling equipment in conjunction with the local Customer Services teams
  • Processing reports, analysis, recommendations, documentation and proposals based on carried out assessments
  • Providing engineering (desktop) studies, risk analysis, calculations and other technical services to the local Customer Services teams; in particular with regard to project execution e.g. sourcing, logistics, site management, commissioning, deconstruction work, etc.
  • Conduction feasibility checks (technical & commercial) on project execution plans and resource planning
  • Managing and controlling expenses within budget incl. time management and cash management for assigned Aftermarket Project scopes
YOUR PROFILE
  • Engineering degree, structural (e.g. FH, TU)
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, a working knowledge of Materials Handling applications is must
  • Very good English skills
  • Good IT skills (MS-Office, AutoCAD, UG-NX7.5, Teamcenter)
  • Strong analytical skills, well-structured way of working
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and to work in a team
  • Skilled communicator in a multinational environment
WE ARE OFFERING
