CHIEF OF STAFF AND SENIOR DIRECTOR, OPERATIONS
The World Energy Council, a London-based international non-profit energy policy organisation active in 95 countries, seeks an experienced senior manager to join the organisation.
The position will be based at the Council’s London headquarters and will report directly to the Secretary General, represent the Council at meetings with key constituents and at events and be responsible for senior managerial and operational tasks, including providing management oversight to the Studies, Programmes, Events, Membership and Operations teams. By the end of 2016, the incumbent is expected to assume the role of Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for HR, finance and operations.
Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of management experience and must show clear progression to an increasingly senior role. The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully managing, mentoring and developing teams and outstanding communications skills and must be able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-growing organisation and to function successfully in a diverse global environment. Fluency in English and French are required.
The salary will be commensurate with a senior level position in a global non-profit organisation and will be based on experience and qualifications. The World Energy Council offers a generous benefits package.
