Store Clerk - The Agricultural Inputs Trust

The Agricultural Inputs Trust (AGITF) is a revolving fund which is under the Management of Board of Trustees. The fund was established by Act of Parliament No.9 of 1994. The fund is looking for dynamic, qualified and committed Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions.

POSITION: STORE CLERK (1 POST)
(i) Responsible to: Human Resources and Administration Manager.

(ii) Minimum Qualifications: Holder of Diploma in Procurement and Supplies, Professional stage I.

(iii) Experience
Two years work experience in public or any private reputable organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Maintain details of warehouse records and equipment.
b) Liaise with user departments on stores requirements
c) Plan and execute an efficient procurement and supplies management system
d) Prepare and recommend future requirements for storage, equipment, buildings, yards and layout.
(e) Take charge of purchasing and related activities including market research and supplies appraisal.
(f) Assist the Supplies Officer in administering the stores section.
g) Ensure appropriate stores records of purchases and issues are maintained.
h) Prepare progress and final reports on the status of the section.
i) Perform any other duties as singed by senior staff.

Age Limit: Not above 45 years of age.
Remuneration: Salary and other benefits will be according to AGITF Scheme of Service
