Project Manager - Triple Jump Advisory Services
40 hrs per week, based in Amsterdam with occasional travel
Triple Jump is a socially responsible investment management company with its head office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and regional offices in Georgia, Peru, Mexico, Kenya, and Thailand. Triple Jump manages and administers investment funds that focus on improving access to finance for entrepreneurs in developing countries.
Through Triple Jump Advisory Services (TJAS) we provide seed capital, technical assistance and advisory services to portfolio companies and their customers globally. We serve MFIs as well as Intermediary SME Funds who serve the so-called Missing Middle in developing countries. TJAS is among others responsible for the implementation of the Seed Capital & Business Development programme of the Dutch Good Growth Fund.
Expectations
As Project Manager you will support the TJAS team in the development, implementation, administration and monitoring of technical assistance (TA) projects for investees, Business Development Services (BDS) for their clientele and Seed Capital (SC) investments in early stage initiatives.
More specifically you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring the first intake of project proposals and identifying needs for financial (seed capital) and non-financial (TA/BDS) support;
  • Help developing TA/SC/BD projects and prepare for decision-making
  • (Sub)contracting, administrating and monitoring projects
  • Supporting overall program administration and reporting
You will report to the Head of Advisory Services. The position is initially for 1 year and based in Amsterdam. If successful, the candidate will be offered a permanent position.
Job Requirements
  • > 2 years of relevant working experience in the field of consulting and SME finance in developing countries
  • Preferably MBA or similar education
  • Smart - analytical, innovative, creative problem solver, can-do mentality
  • Quick learner, with the potential to evolve to a senior profile
  • Systematic approach - advanced project and program management skills
  • Good communication skills - keen to share achievements; strong customer orientation, good writing skills
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of French and Spanish preferred
