Precision Air Services Plc is a fast growing private Tanzanian airline which operates in Partnership with Kenya Airways, with its strategies to expand wings beyond East Africa and Africa.

POSITION: LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT PARTNER – 1 POST
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATIONS.
DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM.
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
To be accountable for the Learning and Development function across the business.
He/She will ensure;
• Development of Company L&D strategy to ensure business needs are met.
• Training needs analysis conducted to standard.
• Optimal curricula and learning solutions designs - Training content creation/ customization in line with the business strategy.
• Liaise with Line to ensure optimized development processes are implemented to standard
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES /RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure L&D strategy development and execution (including alignment of business needs with available funds/ Evaluation of Training implemented - RoI)
• Training needs analysis conducted to standard.
• Curricula and solution design is up to standard. Training content creation/ customization in line with global principles
• Ensure training delivery in line with agreed plan
• Liaise with Line to ensure optimized development processes are implemented to standard. This involves supporting the Performance Management processes to establish need state and thereafter supporting the competence development process and application of common tools to track competence growth in each unit of the business.
• Manage operational cost and quality.
• Provide custody services of all employee training data
• Provide reliable training support for the each dept and the wider business,
• This includes ensuring delivery of Training & reporting to the wider business in a timely manner.
COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Track record of building excellent relationships and credibility with senior business leaders based on solid commercial understanding and an ability to identify customer needs and go beyond just delivering defined L&D solutions.
• Ability to think strategically and conceptually, and solve business problems with pragmatic and speedy solutions – assimilating issues and ideas into clear requirements, generating alternative solutions based on own insight or learning
• Personal and career maturity to comfortably provide a superior customer service level.
• Strong communication, engagement and interpersonal skills – delivers impactful messages and influences outcomes
• Experience of leading L&D in an organization that demonstrates world-class HR practices, applied in the interest of sustainable performance and contextualized by an ambitious change agenda
• A track record of building HR capability, shaping culture and leadership behaviors
• Experience in aligning critical elements of structure, process and routines to implement and anchor changes
• Sound familiarity with good L&D reporting criteria and their management i.e. timelines and how to translate L&D data to information for line decision making – ranging from weekly, monthly, quarterly to annual reporting.
• Ability to get work done and make a difference i.e. performing and delivering business-oriented HR solutions and approaches through influence, coordination, and individual effort
• A bias for action and speed, and a track record of delivering in a resourceful manner is essential
• A relevant HR or business-related degree and post graduate qualification would be advantageous.

• Knowledge of airline airport process is an added advantage
