Personal Secretary - Gaming Board of Tanzania

Gaming Board of Tanzania is a gaming regulatory institution, which was established under the Gaming
Act No.4 of 2003. Its main functions are to oversee, monitor, and regulate the conduct of gaming activities in Tanzania.
The Board is seeking to recruit qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies
PERSONAL SECRETARIES (2 vacancies)
Qualifications:
Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (CSEE) or equivalent with passes in
English and Kiswahili. Should possess a Certificate in Secretarial Course from a recognized institution,
typing speed of at least 50 WPM and shorthand speed of at least 100 WPM. Must be conversant with computer applications and should have a relevant work experience of at least two years.
Duties:
Undertakes typing of letters, minutes, circulars, licenses, and other reports required for day to day running of Gaming Board affairs. .
Manages diary of appointments for executives.
Manages out going and incoming telephone calls.
Takes dictations and transcribe accordingly.
Manages offices of the executives.
Files and index office documents and correspondences.
Handles incoming mails for personal attention of the relevant executives.
Follows up on outstanding correspondences.
Receives and attend to visitors' of respective executives.
Keeps classified' documents and information in confidence.
Attend meetings and process records of the proceedings.
Replies routine correspondences as guided from time to time.
Conduct other relevant duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
