Webdesign & IT Internship

At the Virtual Reality Medical Institute, we are looking for an editor intern to join our young and dynamic team.
Our institute is a non­profit association, which informs and educates the scientific community as well as policymakers, funding agents and the general public on the uses of advanced technologies such as virtual reality and telehealth to improve the quality and availability of healthcare for people around the globe. IMI organizes and sponsors national and international workshops, conferences, and continuing education courses. We also publish a magazine (Cybertherapy & Rehabilitation) as well as speciality books and articles throughout the year. IMI is active in dissemination and exploitation, research, marketing, and clinical trials and specializes in virtual reality, telehealth, videogame virtual reality and human/­computer interaction research.
WEBDESIGN AND IT INTERNSHIP
This in a part time unpaid internship, for minimum 2 months. The schedule and the starting day will be fixed with the intern. 
What you need to bring
• Passion and desire for all things web, digital and new technologies,
• Strong understanding of the using of social media and latest web trends,
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, CMS
• Ability to find solutions quickly and to take initiative
• Attention to detail
• Good knowledge of the English language, as our official office language is English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What you'll do with us
  • Be an active member of the communication team,
  • Implement the content strategy
  • With the graphic designer, re-build our company website, in a more patient~friendly way.
  • With the graphic designer, re-build the website our annual conference on cyberthearpy, in a more scientific-friendly way.
  • Update the organization’s social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitter) ­ including writing synopsis of articles to arouse interest
  • Monitor the organization’s audience and looks for and implement new strategies to maintain and grow traffic on our website and page
  • If you like illustration or photography, we are always happy to see new talents!
