Social Media Junior Specialist

The European Committee of Domestic Equipment Manufacturers (CECED) is a Brussels‐based trade association that provides a single, consensual voice for the home appliance industry in Europe.

It promotes the industry’s general mission to increase product innovation while reducing the environmental impact of home appliances.

CECED is seeking to engage a Social Media Junior Specialist complementing CECED’s overall communications outreach. Working with CECED’s Communication Manager, the successful candidate would be responsible for helping to further develop CECED’s social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn etc) integrating it with CECED’s overall communications operation.  

Sought Profile

• Good expert knowledge of social media tools.
• Educated to University level or equivalent.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have made their studies in the area of communications or media.
• Good knowledge of the European institutions and EU policy making process.
• Working language English. Additional language would be an asset.
• The candidate should be highly motivated, have good organisational skills, be able to work under pressure and be a team player.

The post is for an initial fixed duration contract with a possibility of extension.
