Gaming Board of Tanzania is a gaming regulatory institution, which was established under the Gaming
Act No.4 of 2003. Its main functions are to oversee, monitor, and regulate the conduct of gaming activities in Tanzania.
The Board is seeking to recruit qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies
PROCUREMENT AND LOGISTICS OFFICER (1 vacancy)
Qualifications:
Holder of university degree in Procurement and Logistics
Management or equivalent qualifications with at least two years of relevant working experience.
Duties:
Manages stores functions.
Places orders for goods requested by user departments.
Inspects goods supplied to ascertain conformity with approved standards, specifications and quality.
Receive goods ordered and timely distributes to respective users.
Maintains stores ledger and inventory.
Ensures timely delivery of ordered goods or services.
Prepares periodic inventory reports.
Develops efficient and effective inventory control system
Conducts periodic stock taking on timely basis.
Manages statutory returns in accordance with the requirement of the public procurement legislation.
Performs other relevant duties as may be assigned by supervisors.
