Information Communication Technology Officer - Gaming Board of Tanzania

Gaming Board of Tanzania is a gaming regulatory institution, which was established under the Gaming
Act No.4 of 2003. Its main functions are to oversee, monitor, and regulate the conduct of gaming activities in Tanzania.
The Board is seeking to recruit qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (1 vacancy)

Qualifications:
Holders of a university degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification with relevant working experience of at least two years.
Administers Computer Systems to ensure their proper functioning.
Develops, adapts and supports user friendly interfaces to computer systems.
Carry out diagnosis and troubleshooting of Computer Systems.
Supports and train other Staff in newly acquired systems of Gaming Board.
Appraises business systems performance and provide appropriate recommendations.
Supervises service and maintenance of computers and accessories.
Creates backup for business operations and ensures that contingency measures are up to date and functioning.
Establishes and maintains data base as may be required by users. .
Analyses, designs, develop and maintain software packages and application systems for Gaming Board.
Performs other relevant duties as may be assigned by supervisors.
