Sandvik Process Systems is a leading global manufacturer of processing equipment – highly engineered steel belts and processing systems - as well as a provider of customized service solutions; all designed to contribute to our customers' productivity and strengthen their market positions. We are now looking for a solid and independent Financial Manager to our Sandvik Process Systems site in Sandviken – someone who embraces a changeable environment and who wants to contribute through a strategic and operative role.
Job Summary
As Financial Manager for Process Systems site Sandviken you have the overall responsibility for book closing, budgeting and forecasting, inventory accounting and product costing. Other areas that you are responsible for are fixed asset handling, investment follow-ups, financial reporting and analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. You develop our financial processes and drive improvements in our key performance areas and within this role you also collaborate with a various group of stakeholders, such as internal and external service providers, procurement, sales, IT, cost center owners, auditors and the management team.
This position is located in Sandviken, Sweden.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in business administration or finance and with a proven track record of five years working with business control/management accounting in a manufacturing industry. You have solid experience from accounting, book closing, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. You also have solid knowledge of relevant laws and legislations connected to the assigned areas. Good understanding of ERP workflows and excellent skills in Excel is needed in this position. Knowledge about the ERP system MOVEX/M3 and the software QlikView is an advantage. As we operate in a global setting, your communication skills in English must be excellent, both verbally and in writing.
