Executive Assistant

Salary: £25,000 gross per annum

HelpAge is currently seeking an experienced, capable and pro-active executive assistant to provide confidential and efficient administrative support to the CEO, deputy CEO, the HelpAge International Board and its sub-committees, the Leadership Group and the task-force on HelpAge International network development.

You will have significant experience working as a personal assistant to senior staff, and you will have worked directly with Trustees Boards. Experienced in budget management, you will be skilled in diary management, preparing and briefing senior staff members for internal and external appointments, making travel arrangements, event management, and minute taking.

You have the proven ability to work on your own initiative and to prioritise effectively, not just for yourself but for senior staff members. The ability to exercise discretion, strong judgement and to take appropriate actions without supervision is also required. Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are essential, as is the demonstrated ability to develop and manage effective administrative systems.
