Senior Financial Analyst
Summary of Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for analyzing customer, operational, and sales data.
Scope includes:
- Analyze and interpret data for the purpose of providing reports, observations, and recommendations.
- Able to create financial analysis models and carry through results to recommendations.
- Exhibit flexibility and willingness to work in contract analysis, revenue planning and business case analysis areas.
- Analyze impact of business cases on local booking revenues of over $150M and customer incentives of $60 M.
- This position will report to the Manager of Revenue Planning and Analysis. It requires a strong combination of systems, data, financial, communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to interface effectively with executive and department management levels.
- Provide performance reporting in the areas of contract, bookings and business case analysis or similar.
- Create financial models for evaluating business cases.
- Manage and administer the processes for reviewing, analyzing and approving cash incentives and other inducements to retain or convert travel agency customers.
- Analyze market place and customer booking trends
Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests. - Represent department on project teams and provide all analysis needed for decision making.

Requirements:
- 4-6 years of analytical and business experience.
- Ability to break down complex issues into analyzable segments and organize the collection, interpretation and solution structure to drive business results.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Expert level in Excel.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills to interface with various levels of management.
- Strong PC Skills with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on spreadsheet and database knowledge.
- Knowledge of SAP and Business Objects or similar Report Writing tool.
- Understanding of the Airline and Travel Agency Industry.
- Must have initiative to stay abreast of company, industry, and market trends/events and understand relationship of these trends/events to the company's profitability.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with different timelines in a high-intensity environment.

Undergraduate in Finance or Business. MBA preferred.
