Business Development Manager - Italy Milan

Directing reporting to the Department Director the candidate will be responsible to establish and realize new business and market opportunities inside tourism industry and build effective business relationships to ensure ongoing profitable local revenues for the company.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for new business revenues, account development & relationship management, tactical and strategic business development and budgeting and sales planning

Actively research in the tourism industry, in order to assess the possibility for new business opportunity and portfolio growth.

Develop new business opportunities through proactive targeted and continued new business development activities with new and existing customer

Manage full life cycle of the sales and relationship process from prospecting to closure

Assure the achieving assigned revenues target by focusing on high margin account-specific solutions

Liaise with the project team allocated, to develop and implement the solution

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Economics/Marketing or equivalent experience

Entrepreneurship attitude with a high level of initiative and orientation for experimentation and discovery

Strong customer focus coupled with excellent interpersonal/communication skills.

Able to interface internationally and available to travel

Ability to use good economic thinking to prioritize work and evaluate risks in a highly changeable environment

Team player who can also work independently

Fluent knowledge of English and PC skills

Relevant Job Experience:

Minimum 5 years in sales or business development within IT company possibly connected with the tourism industry
