We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow with experience in synthetic chemistry, to work at the chemistry/biology interface. The post is funded by Cancer Research UK and aims to develop a series of cyclic peptide inhibitors of tumour angiogenesis. The project will be conducted as part of a multidisciplinary team composed of molecular biologists, cell biologists and chemists.

Candidates must hold, or be about to obtain, a PhD in organic chemistry and have a strong background in synthetic chemistry, preferably peptide synthesis. Experience of peptidomimetic development would be an advantage.

This appointment is funded for up to 12 months (short-term) in the first instance, with the possibility of extending the appointment by mutual agreement.
