Job Purpose You will be responsible for the overall management of finance operations in Libya, ensuring that all policies are adhered to and financial transactions are accounted timely in line with internal accounting procedures and EY corporate governance process. Responsibilities You will be responsible for: managing the systems and procedures requirements according to EY financial policies. ensuring that revenue collections and control capital and operation expenses are within the approved budget limits for the Libya. You will manage credit collections on timely basis to boost the cash flow. participating in the budget preparation for the station to ensure that budget proposals cover all the financial requirements. guiding and motivating staff to ensure the performance and the target date for MIS is being met. ensuring that all policies are adhered and financial transactions are timely accounted in line with internal accounting procedures and EY corporate governance. Requirements You must possess: The right to work in Libya 10 -12 years experience in airline accounting with strong exposure to financial accounting, leading and managing the team of accountants. university degree in accounting as well as professional qualifications like CA, Cost Accountant, and Management Accountant will be preferable. proficiency in Oracle Financials or any ERP for AP/AR/GL modules. Fund Management, Credit Management, Revenue Management, Staff Management. knowledge of airlines tariff, IATA rules and regulations, working of various revenue accounting systems,ms word/excel, any erp, preferably in oracle financials. knowledge of Aviation specific expenditure profile. basic Knowledge on Pax and Cargo accounting. thorough knowledge of local laws, rules and regulations pertaining to finance such as VAT, Income tax, GST, Employer and Employee contributions etc.
