(Senior) Design Engineer

Position description	We are looking for a (Senior) Design Engineer to Wärtsilä Industrial Operations, Gas Engine Components, in Vaasa.
Responsibilities	- Develop new design solutions for gas engine components and techologies - Check that new designs are optimised for manufacturing with quality and cost effectiveness - Ensure that alternative design solutions are benchmarked - Be responsible for communication with suppliers in the development of design - Perform basic calculations including FEM in some cases - DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis)
Requirements	- BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering - IDEAS/NX (or other 3D) skills - Team Center skills - DFMEA skills - Know how in combustion engines and fluid mechanics - MS Office skills - Good communication and team working skills - Knowledge of (gas) engine technology - Adequete skills in finnish, swedish and english - Few years experience in 3D machine design
