An international humanitarian organisation with operations in over thirty countries worldwide requires a:

Camp Manager

Requirements: Islamic Relief is currently recruiting for a Camp Manager. The post holder will be responsible for management, coordination and implementation of Islamic Relief Camp.. They will also manage the humanitarian assistance provided by other agencies, government institution, bilateral and private donors. They will provide comprehensive support in managing staff, finances and administration.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within development or relief organisations, preferably in the Middle East or North Africa. They will be responsible for managing the implementation of Islamic Relief Yemen security procedures, maintenance, work plans, logistics and camp finances. In addition, co-ordinate information systems and mechanism among IDP, humanitarian agencies and government institutions.

The post holder will have previous camp management experience and minimum MSc in Engineering, Development or Social Sciences qualifications as essential.

Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is essential. The candidate should have the ability to work on their own initiative and within a team.
