An international humanitarian organisation with operations in over thirty countries worldwide requires a:Waqf Co-ordinator
Salary: £32,000 per annum Contract
Location: International Office, Birmingham
Contract: Permanent

Requirements: Islamic Relief Worldwide is currently recruiting for a Waqf Co-ordinator based at our International Office in Birmingham. To ensure the provision of Waqf programme support to the field offices and partners aimed at developing Waqf focused projects and Waqf programmes according to the Country Programme Strategy and SBU Strategic direction.
The successful candidate should have a degree in either of the following:
A relevant degree in business management development/humanitarian areas preferably in an international setting. Proven knowledge and understanding of Waqf and sharia related issues. Good interpersonal skills including the ability to listen, sensitivity to others views and perspectives, and conflict resolution. Problem solving skills, excellent written and spoken English and Arabic. An in-depth understanding of international development issues. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
