To strengthen our HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health (HIV/SRH) portfolio, we are looking
for a:

Programme Officer - HIV / Sexual and Reproductive Health

The candidate will map current opportunities, analyse current competition, identify potential partners, develop project proposals, and position RiH as a recognised technical advisory agency in the HIV/SRH field.

Responsibilities
We expect the ideal candidate to:
• Develop a set of background documents on developments, trends and priorities of donor and funding agencies in HIV/SRH, based on data from a variety of sources.
• Take an important role in establishing lasting contacts with donor and funding agencies, partners and stakeholders, and proactively position RiH for upcoming HIV/SRH opportunities.
• Take key responsibilities in formulating proposals to donor and funding agencies, provide technical assistance in individual and country-level HIV prevention, care and support programmes.
• Represent ResultsinHealth in national and international technical and development forums, technical meetings, briefings, international conferences, and other events.

Requirements
• Masters’ degree in Public/International Health, Epidemiology or comparable field, complemented with 5+ years of relevant working experience, with an emphasis on HIV and/or Sexual and Reproductive Health.
• Technical and management experience across one or more HIV/SRH programme areas, such as prevention and management of key STIs (including HIV); key adolescent RH; family planning; integration of RH with other sectors and health services; and impact evaluation (M&E).
• Knowledge of key organizations and networks active in the field, and knowledge of current debates in HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health.
• Good writing skills, with experience in project design, proposal writing, and budget development.
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
• Able to meet deadlines, with strong attention to detail and quality.

We offer

• Salary range Euro 40,500 – 56,000 per annum, depending on level of experience.
• Duty station: Leiderdorp (The Netherlands).

Position within RiH
The Programme Officer HIV/SRH will report to the Directors and actively collaborate with other RiH staff members.
Due to our current team composition, we are particularly interested in male candidates
