ADAP/GRACE-PD (Adolescent Development)

Purpose

Deliver three time-bound discrete outputs: establishment of a new intranet site focused on adolescent development and participation, facilitate the development of results and indicators to measure outcomes for adolescents, and gather good practices and examples of participation and civic engagement in UNICEF. For details please see the Terms of Reference.

Qualifications and Competencies

An advanced degree in social sciences;
- At least 5-years relevant work experience in contributing to and advancing issues related to adolescents and young people, gender, and human rights;
- Experience working with individuals from diverse professional backgrounds to deliver on specific tasks or projects;
- Demonstrated track record in report writing, documentation and publication;
- Knowledge of UNICEF and UN language, protocols, branding and design standards desirable;
- Ability to work with minimal daily supervision and exercise sound judgment in meeting deadlines.

Please note that candidates may be asked to undertake a written and oral test after expressing interest in the work. A physician’s Certificate of Good Health and proof of health insurance coverage must be provided prior to commencement of work.
