The role
Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will undertake supervised tasks to manage project scope, time, cost, quality and other project management related duties to achieve client and project objectives.

Other key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with leading and managing project stakeholders including the client, statutory authorities, consultants, contractors and end-users
  • Undertaking supervised tasks to manage key project elements to achieve client and project objectives;
  • Assisting with and support marketing and business development by drafting proposals / submissions, and developing internal and external relationships;
  • Project documentation management and administrative duties including managing the ITP Project’s Primavera data management system, preparation and issue of contract instructions and management of project drawings, filing and drawing issues.
The person
To be successful in this role you will be tertiary qualified in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline, have past experience in managing small projects including effective interaction with a wide range of professionals and a commitment to providing quality client service.

Additionally you will have; an eye for developing first class documentation, possession of a strong team focus, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, think clearly and logically and display a high level of negotiation skills.

You will be a passionate and professional individual with a flexible, reliable and willing attitude preferably with experience in the management of Primavera data control software.
