The role: Associate Product Marketing Manager

The Google Marketing team is responsible for marketing the company's exceptional product portfolio to end users, partners and customers on a worldwide basis. Our approach is to embrace the strength of our products and pace of innovation to drive marketing programs that are as entrepreneurial, data-driven and respectful of our users as Google itself. We have a variety of roles, including product marketing, creative services, event management, quantitative marketing and field marketing. As an Associate Product Marketing Manager for the Italian market, you will analyze, measure, position, package, and promote Google’s product and business offerings in Italy. You will be responsible for supporting Google's growth and revenue generating efforts in Italy through effective and results-focused marketing campaigns. You will work with the local marketing team, the wider European marketing group and local sales teams to plan and execute major B2B initiatives. You will be in charge of positioning and promoting Google's B2B products to achieve measurable objectives. Your key responsibilities will be to recruit small and medium advertisers through efficient ROI-based campaigns designed to increase awareness, education and product adoption. You will also be required to analyse the results of marketing programs to optimise investment. You will work with Sales and PR to onboard new advertisers and contribute to the overall positioning of Google Italy in the business market.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Product MarketinG Managers to define and implement customer acquisition strategy for Small and Medium Businesses (SMB).
  • Create and implement marketing activities to recruit SMB advertisers and drive revenue for Google.
  • Plan and run awareness and education initiatives which have a positive impact on Google's business brand.
  • Develop creative assets and tools and manage agencies and vendors.
  • Manage budget to execute ROI efficient acquisition programs; analyze projects’ performances and take actions based on results.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in product marketing, direct marketing, marketing programme management, or consulting.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
  • Strong analytical skills and creativity, experienced in cross functional project management.
  • Demonstrated strong performance with successful execution and problem solving skills, resourcefulness, and creativity.
  • In-depth understanding of search products, the sales cycle, and Google's business model.
